If you don't have to land, anyone can fly
On a stage full of crash mats, the floor is more forgiving, and the sky is the largest space to explore. Acrobatic tricks that cannot be performed easily on stage are now given ample scope to be developed and displayed. When you think of a soft mat, you tend to think of sleep, rest, and fragility, but the opposite could not be further from the truth. By using softness, you can be tough, by taking rest you can go fast, by daring to be fragile you gain confidence and by sleeping you are only truly awake.
